Alrighty now... Ive got everything i NEED for my head gasket swap (all applicable gaskets, bolts, sealer, etc etc. including some tuneup supplies I.E. oil, filters, valves, plugs etc etc) so Now on to the thing I want to do. I want to switch over to Roller Rockers while my heads are off. I know I can go with the Cobra rocker kit. But I wanted something a little more adjustable. So I was thinking about retrofitting my Stock E7's with a STUD mounting kit. Now where could I find one, OR would I be able to just machine the hole to accept normal 7/16" studs with guideplates... ANyone with an answer Please let me know. THanks

this is on my 87 mustang lx 5.0l hatch. Man trans etc etc

Just keep your "stock" setup (pedestal)...no real good reason to switch in my opinion...

I had Crane pedestal mounted ones on my stock E7's...they were quiet to :nice: ...and when I replaced them after doing the h/c/i swap...they looked new...

well i have a blown head gasket so I need to replace them actually. And i have a set of the cranes on my 94 mustang and I have had nothing but trouble. I do however know what im doing with stud mounted rockers and whatnot So i need to find out if its good for my car. plus its cheaper to convert, get new and whatnot then it is to get the same setup with a pedestal mount setup
