I'm working on a "de-smogged" SN95 (95 GT) belonging to my buddy.
Problem is that in the opinion of a previous owner, de-smogged means remove stuuf and put in the trash. The EGR is gone, the smog pump is also gone. As is a fair bit of the vacuum plumbing and thermactor valves, etc.
Consequently the car has the dreaded surging idle.
I'm going through a surging idle check list and I'm getting improvements (but the car is not right yet) but one thing is giving me a little trouble. I read that the thermactor feedback wire need a 10ohm resistor connecting to it but I can't find anything that looks like a possible candidate. Can anyone enlighten me as to where I might find it (presumably somewhere in the area of the right side inner fender) and what it might look like please.............???
