anyone one have a wiring diagram to trouble shoot these 2 lights? my dome light doesnt turn on at all bulbs are good and so is the fuse. could it be the dome light housing thats the problem? and the light on the hatch stays on when hatch is closed so it drains the battery. want to see what can be causing it to stay on.

Sounds like your Dim Switch is set to ON, turn it back a bit till it clicks out of the ON position, and is at high instead. Should fix both problems, if not there are wiring problems elsewhere.

the dim light fixed the hatch light but the dome light still doesnt work oh well.

when the hatch is open shouldn the light turn on? the only way my hatch light turns on is if i open a door or if i put the dim light switch on but when i open the hatch it doesnt turn on it seems like it was to turn on but only way to do it is to turn on dim light. wondering if thats the only ways that it turns on thanks.

So the dome light comes on with the door switches and the dimmer switch, but not with the hatch. I am going to make a guess that the power wire between the hatch switch and the dome light is not making connection. I have not opened up one to see how what the switch looks like, but I would bet the wire has come off from the hatch switch that goes to the dome light.

Good luck, let us know what you figure out.
