Dome light won't turn off

Ok, it didn't used to stay on all the time, but now it does. I'd go over a bump or take a turn fast and it'd flicker at me a little or stay on for a few seconds before going off again, pretty annoying, but I could deal with it. Now it won't turn off. I just took the bulb out for now, but the problem is, I can't turn my alarm on because it will randomly go off. This used to never happen before I did my engine and tranny swap, but that could just be a coincidence. I'm thinking it might either be a bad sensor on the door or maybe I grounded something out that could cause this? Any and all help or ideas is welcomed please!

Damnit! Ok, 1 min later, problem solved.....in all my infinate knowledge I checked my drivers side door switch......and not the passenger side, since I have a passenger about once a month...yeah, it was knocked into the door some so it didn't know the door was closed!
