The paint scheme has that vintage, gradient look that I remember from that era.

Yeah, it's an original 1988 Saleen. #378, it's in the registry and has docs from Saleen and build sheet etc, yada, yada..

Next year, i would like to paint it solid white and add the SC stripes in black. So, you can say i am cloning an SC form a real Saleen...LOL

Don't do it, back when i bought my car other than seats, it was pretty much a perfect 1990 clone. After a few years the car needed paint and i attempted the SC look with the two stripes.
No doubt at all the lower rocker panel non sc stripe kit looked better.

Your car looks perfect as it sits, don't fix it if it ain't broke.

Maybe i will paint it solid and add the 9 line stripe kit.

Well...so far so good. I had to put in a new proportioning valve/distribution block. The old one was shot. I knew that, so no biggie.

And, if any of you have Moroso pans. What washer works best on the rear plug of the pan? for some reason the copper ain't cutting it.
