Door doesn unlock with keyfob but locks fine

Hi i have an 05 mustang.
Doors lock no problem with the fob.
1press nothin. Second press unlocks passenger door.

But no help.

Have you tried reprogramming the FOB?

If not, try this:

Thank you i will try but the button in the car just closes the door and doesn't open it either.

Remove the driver side door panel and locate the door actuator.

Use a volt meter to measure for 12 volts with the key [on] and the door unlock switch held in the [unlock] position (you may need a friend).

Report back if you get 12 volts at the actuator. If so, change the actuator.
