I have a question about the door handle insert thing. the plastic piece you grab to close the door. mine pop out every time i close the door. is this a commom problem can i fix it. nothing looks broken.

I beleive there is supposed to be a screw in it? I haven't gone into my doors yet but there usually is a screw. Maybe the screw is missing or the hole is stripped.

i know what ur talking about, the black plastic insert you grab to close the door... well, a lot of us have problems w/ those. the clip on the bottom is probably a little broken or worn. My dad put a screw through the top of mine when i first got it (a fancy screw 
) and that holds it. I believe I remember RC saying he put some 3M double sided tape on there, but it didn't work too well... if you don't plan on going in there, you could use some goop or somehitng

well i pulled both the driver one and the passenger one. the driverside the top tab is worn and doesn't hold. the passengerside the bottom clip is broken off completly. anybody know where to get new ones?

Its a common problem the clips break...mine was broken I got a new one from a junker but it was out of a 2001GT so the color is slightly off but it works.
when ppl take their door pannels off the plastic clips are very weak and snap.
