door handles

I bought a couple pairs of replacement door handles for my 92 stang, but they do not fit like the originals. The new ones stick out further than the originals. i was wondering if anybody else had this problem and if they could correct it or if thats just how they fit.

i had sombody put mine on because i bought my car ike that, anyways, did you get the plastic or metal ones? that might be your problem...i dunno,

Yep, I bought the metal ones from 50resto and they don't fit worth crap. If I can't find some metal ones that fit, I'm going back to the plastic Ford ones. These things look terrible.
