Well some jerk broke into my car and stole my radio, which isn't that big of a deal except they broke my door lock. Does anyone know where I can find some door lock cylinders? I found some for a 93 Mustang on Latemodelrestoration.com will those work or no? Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I had a similar situation happen to me with my 97 F-350 a couple years ago, I bought factory Ford replacements from the parts dept. at the dealer and they fit like crap. They didn't fit tight in the hole and the new clips that held them in place didn't keep it as tight as factory. Also I had to get a locksmith to work on the cylinders and the keys to get them to work without having to push and pull the key to the right spot to unlock. Maybe they would work better on mustang cylinders not sure but I had no luck with the Ford's on mine. LMS may have a better product.

when i bought my 95 the ignition lock cylinder was trash (it spun in all directions) and the only key i had was so worn it couldnt be copied and it wouldnt open my door locks. LMR does have a complete set for these cars. it includes door cylinders, ignition cylinder and trunk cylinder with 2 new keys. i want to say its all motorcraft too. i actually had to call them to order it, they do have it. i want to say it was like $170 for the set. Dont quote me on that though. Give them a call, i have talked with a guy named Brad there in the past and for ordering this set. Really helpful guy! Good luck!

I bought the door lock kit from lmrs. It came with both doors, the hatch/trunk, glovebox and 2 keys and was like 80 bucks I think. Works pretty good so far, just had a hard time finding a place that could make key copies..

When they did that to my old teal stang I just had the door cylinders shaved, looked pretty clean, everyone liked it. BTW sorry to hear some POS dirt bag did that to you. Thats why I gave up on putting any kind of system in my cars till I have a garage. I worry enough as it is with whats under the hood but nobody sees that or knows much about it. But you always have these young POS low lifes who walk around see a nice car and nice radio and are like EWWW and bye bye radio. So with the new stang I just left the good old mach460 in there and alone. Sounds great enough the way it is, lol.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed. I'm also going to have to buy a new dash kit, the old one is broken into several pieces. Thanks again thieves. Although I do think it's funny that I accidentally left my $100 knife in the car and they weren't even smart enough to steal that
