I'm trying to remove my door pannel to put in new speakers, and am having the hardest time getting the pannel off. I only found one screw, and the rest seem to be just snaps. So far all I can do is get the top loose and thats it, so if anyone has any experince with a 97' door pannel, it would be really appreciated.

First take the plastic clip off the lower front of the door panel with a flathead screwdriver. Then remove the plastic piece around the door lock and window switches. Do that by taking the screwdriver and put it in the place at the top and pry it out, then at the top of the piece, pull up slow until it comes out. Now the only thing holding it in is a clip at the bottom of that piece. It is hard to get but pull on it carefully and it will come. Now you have to remove the two screws from the switch to get rid of the plastic piece. Now look at the panel where you just took that piece off. There are two screws that need to be removed. The next thing is to remove the trim around the door handle, pry around it and it will pop out. That should be it, now you just have to lift the door up and out.

The fun part is putting the panel back on right, just take your time so you don't break any clips.

I was actually wondering this myself recently. My passenger door rattles a bit by the speaker. I punched it real good and I think my highly technical approach worked.
