Maybe I'm in the wrong area of this forum, but I'm actually new here (first thread posted). I am in the process of doing a restoration of my 1993 LX, and I was trying to remove the doors to rebuild the hinges. I was digging through my Chilton manual, and all it told me about the wiring was "remove wiring harness". This isn't too helpful to me, as I don't see enough quick disconnects in the harness to make this feasible. Am I expected to cut and then splice all of those wires or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

The plugs are up under the dash on each side. On each side there should be one big one for power locks/windows, a smaller one with 3 wires for power mirrors, and another one with two wires for door speakers if so equipped. Then you have to pull out the rubber boot, but be forewarned, it was a PITA for me to install the rubber boot back onto the dash side when I installed my power wiring.

Good luck!
