I need some help from fellow mustang owners. The po of my car had the outside painted but not the inside of the door. I need to rebuild the door hinges and repaint the body where the hinges are and all around the door. I'm also going to paint the interior of the door. I don't do much body work and am worried about putting the door back on and getting it aligned correctly. I was told that I could drill pilot holes in the hinge on the door side to align the doors when putting them back onto the car. Anyone ever do this? Are there other - better options?
Thanks for you help.
