Door Trouble

I have a 92 lx coupe and the door drivers door seems to be loose. When i say loose i mean that when i hit a bump, it is almost like the door is not shut all the way. Yes it is shut all the way, but it still makes a noise. Its like the latch isn't holding it tight enough. Its hard to explain, but if anyone has had this problem before or knows how to fix it please let me know. The car as 150,00 miles on it and i am trying to put it back to stock. Restore it if you will. I will be selling it soon and i would like to get all the little stuff like that fixed.
Thanks

 With the door open, lift up and down on the door at the rear to see if there is any play in the hinges. If you can feel movement your hinges are worn out and need replacement. They make kits for this. Also, check the striker on the door frame to be sure it's tight. That me need to be adjusted. :nice:

Does any air leak through it? If it leaks going down the road then you may need to move the striker in, so the door shuts farther.
Besides what they said this could be the only other thing. Usually the striker doesnt move, and if it did youd see the back of the door and the rear 1/4 not lining up.
Mustang doors are heavy so the hinges have a lot to deal with....
