check the switch with multimeter. if you get power unlock/lock then it might be the lock actuator

Does it lock when you're inside the car and hit the button? Does the power unlock still work?

Is there power to and from the CB in the fusebox?

More info is needed.

Good luck.

Or a bad lock wire/master switch lock circuit.

it sounds like it tries to go down but has no power to do it.

Just to make sure, we're talkin about the door lock actuator here....... right.

If both lock functions on both actuators crapped out at the same time, I'd still look for wiring issues (both actuators failing at the same time for the same function [lock] would be weird).

I'd start at the lock wires under the dash or whereever you can find them (I never found them under the dash but did find them in the door sill plate area) and see what you find. That's a good middle point so you know if you need to one way or the other (depending upon whether you have voltage there or not).

Good luck.

Try this: Check for power at the pink and yellow wire as you hit the switch with it plugged in. No power: switch is bad. The manual says something about the electronic door lock control prosessor being possibly bad but I dont even know what or where that is. good luck

I would say talk to your car, she might not be feeling loved and in protest she wants to be stolen. Pamper her a little and your doors may lock again. Sorry, it sounded funny in my head.

are the door locks constant +12V or -12V? did you test for both at the switch? double check for any pinched/cut wires
