Is it just me or does the newly announced SMS 25th anniversary Mustang look suspiciously similar to Saleen Automotive's S281SC with the Scenic Roof option?

Are we about to witness a flurry of lawsuits & recriminations over SMS ripping off the design of the Saleen Mustang's body panels, wheels & other accoutrements? Or is there some heretofore unspoken relationship between these two allegedly competing companies?

Not sure what all the criticism is about, but even I was a little confused at first.

Think of it as a personalized Extreme for Steve (Happy Anniversary, Steve!).

There is no intent to manufacture these.

It's not for sale to the masses.

In the rear shot photos it clearly has SALEEN embossed on the bumper.

It's a Saleen with some Steve Saleen personalizations.
