Try scrolling down to the bottom of the page and look in the left hand corner. There's a box with a down arrow. This allows you to change the style or 'skin' of the page. I have mine set to "TheFastDial" and don't have problems with the ads.

The new site definitely does not work as well as the old one but the blockage depends on which ad is up. I also have a problem with the automatic reload/refresh when using Firefox 1.07, works fine with IE6 though.

I only see the add problem every now and then. I am also using Firefox 1.0.7. My main problem is if I use the "quick reply" box at the bottom of the thread. If I type a response and click "post quick reply" the page reloads and hangs with nothing displayed. If I stop the page load, then highlight the address in the location bar and hit enter it loads up just fine. Using advanced reply, or editing a post works just fine.

I've got popup stopper installed and don't have any popups.

I just hate the ads at the top, the ads after the first post, and the ad next to this quick reply box

68, that is EXACTLY what I see with the new version, but if you just hit the "Go" button it works. A little bit easier.

Larry, they aren't really pop-ups, more like banners. Some of them sit on top of the search options so if you try to click you go to the ad which only encourages more of this BS....AAARRGRGGHHHH.

Internet ads and spam is like telemarketers and junk mail, if nobody ever clicked on it they would stop. But the simple matter is they work because people use them.
