The 13/16ths nut on the driver's side mount keeps on spinnin' I can't get it to tighten so I need a new mount? How hard is it o replace w/ jackstands? Let me know.

Always replace them in pairs - if one is shot, the other likely won't be far behind; if you only put one in, you'll simply accelerate the decline of the other. Ought to throw a tranny mount in while you're under there. Don't know how hard it is on yours; it's not too bad on mine. Just be careful under there.

One more thing I would at least consider replacing is the bushings on the x-member. They're not hard to change -- especially if you're changing the tranny mount -- and it's about $10-$15 for poly ones that will help tighten things up.

great advice from all. if you search posts by Jrichker, he has a little write up on the procedure with bolt sizes, etc.

parts store mounts are about 1/3 the price of poly (for 2 motor and one trans mount) - something to remember if budgeting. poly is real nice though.

also, if not using poly, i would use captured mounts from a 93 - verts had captured mounts before hardtops. by 93, ford was using the vert captured mount for all the stangs.

good luck.
