Alright, finally got my car to GLD after the new motor (mods in sig). Best time I ran was a 13.46 @ 103.53 with a 1.937 sixty foot. Figuring the car weighs roughly 3300 lbs. with me in it, that should equate to about 260 rwhp. I was hoping for a bit more, but my car is untuned, and I'm not exactly sure of what I have for a fuel pump. Anyone think some tuning will give me another couple mph? Kind of curious where I should go from here.

a tune will def. help your car out, but your only about 5-6 tentsh off of what the car should be running. You should see high 12's. with that setup. and your 60's is killing your times as well. get that down a tenh or two and you will see some better numbers

Should have mentioned; I do have 16" ET streets for the track now. I got there late and without a pressure gauge, so I was making passes with 28 psi in the tires. It was only about 50 out and dark by the time I made my first pass, so I didn't expect much more for 60' times. Had the best results just slipping the clutch at 3500 rpm; anything more just spun, or wheelhopped.........which leads me to my next question......what do you guys typically run for pinion angle on your foxes? I'm on FMS c-springs all the way around, and have adjustable upper/lower control arms.

I really wanted to just get out and make a few passes to see where I was at in terms of power, and I see I have some work to do. I didn't think it would be too much to expect 107-108 mph trap speeds out of my combo with proper tuning...... Anyway, thanks for all your input guys.

The wheel hop issue sound like bad housing bushings, as far as tire pressure start at 20 psi and work down 2 psi till you get a slight spin as far as pinion angle i run -4 degrees to get it to hit the tires hard. you always have room for improvement with timing and fuel adjustments that sounds like a 12.8 car to me

Never even looked at those when doing control arms; will check those out this winter.

I sure as heck hope so; I'm hoping better traps and 60' times once I get the engine/chassis tuning issues figured out it will happen.
