Will drilling into the frame cause the battery to die out?? I was drilling holes in the frame of my car for my new strut tower brace and when I went to start it up the battery was dead. I had the stereo playing as I was working on the car and all of a sudden it started going on and off. Playing my stereo (for 30 minutes) while working on the car isn't a problem since I do it all the time and I have the key turned to ACC. I had just started and drove the car to the stall so I can work on it. I have a red top battery and this is the first time in two years it was completely dead.
