I'm drilling through my trunk to install the Roush 4pt spoiler. I want to make sure I do everything right.

- Should I use a particular bit?
- Should I drill from the top or from the bottom?
- Any precautions for drilling through the paint?

Please tell me anything I should know...

thanks

I dont think you have to drill if you have the 4pt spoiler. The two smaller posts on the inside are suppose to go in perfectly on the 01 + mustangs.

The inside ones do go in perfectly. There are 2 more on the outside though... i believe they are where '99-00 would have been. Kinda nice cause I have a little template on the inside of the trunk...but yeah, all in all- 8 holes needed...i have 4

just tape off where it need to go and make sure that it is lined up and that way you can line it up and make your lines and then if it is wrong yo have not drilled a hole and then when you are happey with the placement of the hole get a drill just do not push it thou just put a little push to it it is not that bad
