I got in my 1991 5.0 Convertible the other day and ended up in the back seat!

The back of the seat went completely to the rear and now won't stay upright.

Anybody had this problem and know how to fix?

Thanks
Larry

Maybe the latch is stuck. What have you checked out about it?

Yes the rails from 79-93 will all interchange.

Had this problem, maybe not quite as bad. I took the upholestry off the seat, and where the upper horizontal section of the seat meets the vertical sides, had broken. I tac welded it, and it's as good as new.

For a temp fix you could just swap the driver and passenger seats.

Thanks guys for your help. It almost seems like it has something to do with the adjustment lever on the left of the driver's seat. It just looks kind of "funky".

I'm off work now so I'm going to see what the hell the problem is.

How hard is it to get the seat cover back on if I remove it?

Thanks again
