Driveshaft Safety loop weld in or bolt in?

And what do you recommend for CHEAP?

Just found out I need one for the slicks.

seems like the ones that bolt in are still legal and can always be welded. either way its only $30

I've never had one before obviously.... do you have to pull the carpet up and run the bolts through? Guess I'm not 100% sure where they go in relation to the inside of the car.

When I put mine in, I pulled up the carpet for it. I can't remember exactly where the bolts came through at, but I am thinking that it was under the front seats.
I am pretty sure the specs say it needs to be within 6" of the front u-Joint, so if you look under your car you should be able to see about where it is going to come through to the interior.

It would probably bet easier to get it welded in. No carpet pulling required. And a muffler shop or something will do that for cheap

Id probably ask them. Cause I dont know. It might.

It most likely will burn the carpet, depending on how good the shop is you take it too to have it done.
