Anyone have any ideas, 15, 20, 25%? I ask because last year I did a h/c/i and dynoed 315 hp at the wheels and 316 torque. Since then, I added a DSS 331 shortblock and dynoed 320 and 350 torque at the wheels. The car feels and drives great, the 331 put the power where right where I wanted it, 2500-5500 rpm's. I sure if I went with a different cam my top end hp would increase by at least 65, but I'm happy where I'm at.
My real interest is though is the flywheel power and what the engine is really pushing, 410-435 hp, maybe? What about torque? Are those numbers ever off on a dyno?
I have a bone stock suspension on my 1988 GT. Is there anyway to make that rwhp number go up by not doing anything else to the motor? The car runs great, and I can't wait to get some timeslips, but where do I go from here? Thanks.
