Well, last night i was comming home from a friends house at about 1AM. There was nobody on the road and i wasnt driving fast. I was driing about 10 over the limit just cause NOBODY was on the roads and it on my area where i live so i know whats going on.

So i am driving and i looking i my rear view and i see cop lights and i am like "****"!!!!. So i pull over and the cop says he got me going 55 in a 40. I am think i am gonna get another ticket. Then he takes my liscense and goes back to his crown vic.

He comes back and says "We son this is your lucky night, you hit the right cop to because yesterday i bought a 71' Mach 1 and i know the feeling of driving just driving and your not looking at the speedo and u go a little over."

So then for the next 25 mins or so me and the Officer have a Conversation about he Mach and i was giving him Advice and info on his mach. It was pretty sweet. I told him where all the show to take it are and some forums to check and the dude let me go...he said cause he liked me stang!!!

All the cops i have encountered goes something like this...

* rolls window down *

" License and Registration Please and proof of insurance "
* cop walks away *
* cop takes out pen *
* cop comes back 5 minutes later *

" Sign this please "

when I had my 03 redfire cobra I got pulled over and the cop got my license and registration called everything in then came back and said, "I'm kind of a car nut myself and I realize these cars beg to be driven hard....so I am going to let you off, slow down a little bit, OK? by the way I really like your car!!" Thats the only time they let me off!!!

Cops like American cars too. Don't fool yourself, if you were running a fartcan ricer, you'd catch hell.

What I suggest is that you lean on the American side and say sorry "Officer" for speeding. Then ask them about the crown vic, as in being curious about it's aqcceleration.... not implying you want to drag him AT ALL. Make sure you let him know that you'll support American made cars as long as you live, cause your daddy "key word" and grandpa "another key word" said to go with the old time American made auto's.

Just say it while he's talking to you... he'll flash back to his dad and grandpa... they're never wrong!

Trust me on this one!

....got pulled over twice in a month in florida (taking my buddy home @ 3am)..of course cops always say "do you know why i pulled you over?" I say "yeah, it's 3am, red mustang, new york plates. i'd pull me over too!". they laugh, check my license and walk away. .....now i drive my buddy's car when we go out. haven't been pulled over again!

I had a cop tell me his wife would like my car ...lol....then he reduced the speed i was going on the ticket so i wouldn't get so many demerits on my licence, thats the biggest break i ever caught for driving a mustang.

Haha I have this story beat and its a true story as well...
I was with a friend with a few more buddies in a dodge neon rental car about 2 years ago and we were heading down to the beach...well its a straight highway the whole way and it was an odd time of the day with no cars around so my friend opens the car up ( typical people ragging rentals ) and went by a cop at 105 in a 55....so yea he pulls us over and even puts my friend the driver in cuffs....he asked him " have you ever been pulled over before" and he says yes one time in my mustang GT....and the cop had a 351 powered 95 and then we all got talking and he let us go after about 20 minutes of chit chat about stangs....I cant believe that cop let us go especially at that speed but it was just dudes lucky night I guess.
Its cool that cops let you go though

haha yeah me too. last time i got pulled over the guy was asking about my exhaust and everything, then handed me a ticket... lol

car sounds nice but im gonna have to give you a ticket (for plate covers )

I have gotten out of 6 that I can think of in the period of a month because the officer liked the car and it's a hickish area around here.

I've had backup called because he wanted the other officer to see the car.

Since I got my Mustang I've gone by cops going 20+ over and they never come after me.

The only ticket I've got in the last year was driving my companies **** box honda accord. 12 miles over. That's what I get for trying to save miles on the Mustang.
