Needless to say I was impressed, even for an auto car. First time I have even looked inside a new one. Stuck my foot in it on the freeway and the smile on my face kept getting wider and wider... The car sounds nice stock, Im sure with an exhaust setup it would be amazing. I really liked the view out the windshield; sounds kinda dumb but the low roof line coupled with the view of the raised center section in the hood looks really cool from the drivers seat. Bad blind spots though, but I could deal with it.

Im really interested in a Boss but I refuse to pay MSRP + markup. Plus living in California I have been following the beef with the Boss track key and Cali emissions; ARB is a pain in the rear and the track key wont come with the car. I asked the dealer about this and he looked at me and had no clue what the track key was... idiot.

Really not much point to this thread, just wanted to share... and if you get the chance to stop by your local dealer and give that new 5.0 a whirl... pretty nice machine.

I drove one also. I like it for what it is, the power is decent but I didn't like the electric power steering, feels over boosted ( most probally wont even notice). handles good but loose some of the feel through the steering but that is the wave of the future. The car has high limits but you can still feel its weight, great car though a win for ford.

I like the way they look and I love the way they drive, but I can't STAND the headrests. We rented one for a week in NY last summer and I had to lay the seat way back to get to where I could look straight ahead. I've seen recently that a company has started making pivoting headrests and I'd have to get those if I ever decide to pop for one.

Nice. I have made it a point not to drive one. I know I'd love it and I would end up doing something impulsive. "You're missing the point, honey. This-is-a Two Thousand and Eleven, Five-Point-O! I mean, I pretty much had to do it!"

I know. This is the biggest joke in California government history. A bunch of nonsense.

I have resisted the urge to drive one. I am sure it is a fantastic car and would be an impulse buy for me. The plain truth is that I don't like the current taillights and I don't see them growing on me. I will keep my fox instead.

I know it would make an awesome daily driver. I'll be very interested in getting a used one in a few years. Been dd'ing Fox bods since '88 so it will be nice to finally upgrade. This is the first newer Mustang, besides the '03 Cobra that I really want.

12.31 @ 116.89 with a 1.97 short time.

mods; stock tires, wheel hop, steeda CAI and tuner. 91 octane steeda tune.

11's will be easy with some tires on it.
