1. Headlight machine... Its a car, not space shuttle. If they are too low, they adjust tem up some. Repeat as necessary... It also is hard to tell where the beam is pointing when its daylight, unless the car is parked directlt in front of a wall.

2. So you will be getting a replacement.

3. If they can't reproduce the problem, then they can't fix it, unversal for any dealership regardless of make or model.

4. IF they din't comment on it, they din't look at it. If they would have looked at it, they would have told you that "X" is the problem or that they did not find any problem.

And what was you Shaker 500 Noise problem anyway, I have not read anything about that issue?

You may not be "impressed" by their service, but you should atleast be sadisfied.

That dealer he brought it too is lucky in a way.. Since he just bought the car he won't get a survey..

He will get one for the sale but not for the first service appointment since it's within 6 months..

BTW JOcatch... Please Don't bomb the selling dealer because your not happy with the service at a different dealer.. that is ****ed up and can effect peoples paycheck for something they did not do..

YES, I AM NOT IMPRESSED. You know why? THEY BROKE MY FREAKIN WINDSHIELD TODAY!!!!!!!!

I called the dealer and asked if my mirror was in. They said yes. I go there and then they said they made a mistake and it wasn't in. But by pure luck while I was there the delivery truck came and had the mirror.

They go and install the mirror and ended up breaking the windshield! I am in the waiting room and the service guy comes out and says "I got good news and bad news. The good news is the new mirror works, the bad news is we broke the grass."

I told you I was not impressed for various reasons, not all of which I put in my post. I just have a sense about these things.

So I told them I had to go to work and they brought me to the local Avis and rented a car for me. The new windshield suppose to be installed sometime tomorrow.

Joe you have no luck man... You may have a bad luck car like my 07 fusion was.. On the bright side at least you did not get rear ended on the way home from the dealer with under 20 miles on the odometer like I did witht he fusion

BTW the way they attach the mirror it's really easy to break it. I doubt the guy meant to break the window

Now that I would definatly consider legimate beef with the service department...

I have read about the noise issue with the shaker on a differant fourm than that one, but you never mentioned that you had the problem which is why I asked.

And if you going to post, please tell the whole story so that we know what all the details are. If there are other reasons that are ligimate, like breaking your winsheild, I would have agreed with you from the start instead of starting a debate...

Also not knowing if the mirror was there and saying it was is just stupid.

Well, I picked up my car with the new windshield. Its looks factory original with the horse logo in the middle top. Everything seems to have been done OK.

I told the dealer I wanted to talk to the service manager but he was conveniently on vacation today. He suppose to be in next Monday so I will call him then. I asked the service person if I will get a survey from Ford and they said yes and unless I am completely satisfied they will fail. I told them I was NOT completely satisfied and I wanted to talk to the manager. Although I am not sure how to handle the manager as they did fix the car and gave me a loaner car. So I am not sure how hard to come down on them.

Well, I talked to the service manager who was upset about the glass as much as me since he has to pay it himself, he can't charge Ford the $300. He talked to the two tecs who were working on it and they swear they didn't not mean to do it, they just could not break the mirror free from the glass. Ford really used some strong glue. As the manager said "Stuff happens".

Today the low tire pressure light came on. I checked and the right rear tire was down to 15 psi. I looked and I picked up a big screw someplace!!!!

I called the dealer and he took me in right away and fixed the tire and did a NYS inspection (I needed one since I just registered it in NY). He didn't charge me for the tire fix or inspection. He is trying to make good from the windsheild incident. They are really trying to make me happy. So when I get the survey from Ford I am not going to give them a hard time.
