You test drove a C6 like this one?

No considering about it. It IS a small block.

Just like a 302 IS a small block and a 460 IS a big block

Man, what a great car.

No creaks, rattles, nothing.
Seamless power deliver from the 6.0L LS2.
Shifter was notchy but good.
Great torque.
Sick acceleration (3.42's in the rear).
Nice gauge cluster (looked like white LEDs in there).
Keyless start/off button (uses a remote control transponder to be able to start).
Nice sounding exhaust for stock.
Great seats.
HID's standard.

Nothing like driving an N/A big block motor Can't imagine what a Z06 feels like with 100 more HP

I have to agree with that.

My brother picked up a Z06 last month. Nice car is an understatement.

Yeah, one of the first things he did was to remove the fuse that controlled the valves on the exhaust system. Now they're open all the time instead of just WOT. Sounds awsome

I test drove a C5 Z06 last summer. I was impressed by it but it was different in its power deliverey. Alot smoother then what i expected. My (modded) stang feels alot more torquey down low and top end just as good if not better then that vette. I wanted to race it against my stang, but the saleman (a buddy of mine) didnt want to. he he he at least i tried.
all in all vettes are nice, and i'd really like to drive a C6 Z sometime.

I don't know what car you drove, but the Vette is hella fast.

Don't even start to compare it to a Mustang

The C6s make like 360RWHP.....once you get blown they wont be a BIG deal, as far as power goes. I still LOVE vettes though...definatly wouldnt mind having one.

Now the C6 Z06s are a TOTALLY different story. Those things make around 440-450RWHP. Heck I would have my hads FULLLLLLLL with a bone stock one. My saving grace is that I only weigh 3320...they weigh 3130. So 190#s heavier but I have them by 20HP and a ton of torque. But I also have some boost lag and they dont . Should be a good race.

And I agree....Vettes and mustangs shouldnt be compared as far as quality and "hey should I buy a vette or a mustang...lets compare" TOTALLY different cars, built for different reasons.
Like mag tests agains mustangs and vettes...pointless, OFCOURSE the vette will win overall. And in the Shelbys case it got totally owned by the base C6....darn 4000#s of weight .

He got it for about 42k, including shipping to Hawaii.
