Many dss customers seem happy, but some are not. Watch out for these inexpensive places, who's parts are they using? You get what you pay for. That doesn't mean that you need all forged billet parts, but at least get good cast parts.
Also, I have heard mixed reports about DSS. Lots of good, but a handfull of bad as well. Id rather have it built locally so if there are problems, you can get help first hand. JMO..
DSS is a fine choice, if you get as much sales as they do with their shortblocks your going to get some "cons" out of them or customers to complain. Who is to say that it wasn't the buyer's (owners) fault for messing up the shortblock?
Complain about block splitting?
Complain about p-v clearance problems?
How did they break it in?
Most likely due to the owner of the block, not the saler is my point.
