Her rear end is fine...thats why I married her.

Scarlet is keeping all the stockish things. Only additions will be lowering springs, wheels, tires, and a different radio.

I've got the 3.55 gears. It's enough for her so we are all good. Its not the size of the gear. Its how much umph is behind it.

Well, the cam in the 86 is a good one. It had to make up for the heads. No "I" is really necessary if you decide to upgrade heads and doo maybe a Cobra intake.

The 86 intake upper/lower (as you may already be aware) are the worst of the bunch. They only had to flow enough to feed the 86 heads.

A set of Twisted Wedge heads and Cobra style intake will wake that thing up with no other mods.

This is why I read these threads! Just reading this kinda gets me wanting to get going on my ‘86 again. Heads and the Explorer intake is exactly my plan.

@90sickfox although I love the 4 eyes, it’s cool to see your friends aero swapped car… at least I’m not the only one!

Good to know! And glad to hear your confirmation on the cam…… I’ve heard a few people say that about the ‘86 cam!

I ran that very combo with a Kenne Bell on the top. That SD system had zero issues with the boost, never had any trouble with the 19s running at 90 psi. LoL

I didn't swap to Mass Air until the DART block, heads, blah blah

I think you would love the combo.

Sold the Steeda today so I can focus on Dusty and Scarlet. It was a very interesting car and its gone to a very good home. One of my all time favorite cars. We enjoyed this car through all our wedding photos with it. Would drive anywhere and truelly is a rare mustang.

Now, Dusty can start getting the attention he deserves. I just hit a spot where i was kinda bored with him. Sometimes you have to take a break and just drive the dang thing. Dusty is about to come out of the corner with new found motivation.

Awesome. When the heck did you get that car?
And…… Does your wife know you got married?

I've had it for a little over a year. I try not to let her wine wear off so she'll never know.

Thought I'd be flooding the forum with posts about Dusty or Scarlet....but nope. Adding a bathroom to the garage.

Storage for the scissor lift and better access to upstairs.

I'll be back with mustang related stuff eventually.

Exactly. The septic system is a little up hill so might have to hide a grinder pump under there.

Didn't want to cut up the concrete. Gives a nice place to store things. It also allowed me to use an attic ladder to get upstairs. Seemed like a won for me. With 11 foot ceilings there wouldve been alot of useless space above the bathroom.

That wall heater is directly in the way of a trapeze that you could use to swing into toilet position during emergencies.
