When: Saturday, 14 Jan 2012, starts @ 0900

Where: Turbo Technology, 6211 South Adams St, Tacoma, WA 98409

How much: $30 for 1st run, $10 each additional run

Who: Everyone/everything is invited, 1st come first served on the list, but I DO need at LEAST 12 cars for them to open the doors.

Let me know if you're interested. I need to know if you're coming FOR SURE, or, if you're a MAYBE/WAG. If you're a "for sure", you WILL get to run.

Reply here, PM, or call/text @ FIVE05-FOUR80-FIVE923.

Here's the current list as of 13 Jan 2012:

RUNNING:
1. Brent R. '11 Mustang GT
2. Russ '99 Chevy 1/2 ton
3. Ellis G. '95 Z28
4. Bruce __ Mustang GT

15. Josh '10 Mustang
16. Arron S. ??
17. Matt '07 Mustang GT
18. Al Dodge 300C SRT8
19. Jasin Pontiac ?
20. Andre '88 RX7

STAND BY's:
1. Jeremy '09 G8
2. Tabor '08 Dodge Ram
3. Mike '92 RS
4. TJ '02 SS
5. "Silverado408" ?? LS1 Z28
6. Luke '76 Firebird
7. Steve '07 Tahoe
8. ?? Toyota MR2
9. Demetrius '97 S10
10. Johnny '95 GTI VR6

Keeping the main list at 20 or so, but Turbo Tech said if people are still around after that and are still game to run they have no problems keeping the doors open. Can't guarantee anyone else to run at this point in the event all these people actually show up as the list is VERY full, but people do drop off; I think I've got one quitter so far. Come out anyway and get out of the house!

I'm interested for sure, count me as a maybe/wag. Any tuning happening? I need A/F readings if nothing else.

Most likely not unless whatever changes you can make are quick. PM me your info/name and I'll add you to my list.

Yes, quite a few forums have changed to this type of format - I'm also trying to get used to it.

Make Corey/Wanna_Be_GT get on this list lol. I'm trying to convince him. Hopefully I'll have my new tune by then. It would be interesting to see the difference between what I have and the Lund tune I'm hoping to get if we have time. I've got a tune done by PhP right now, but it's never been on the dyno. Should be a good crowd.

On a total side note lol, I'm not the TylerB from here (Stangnet), he's uber cool, but I'm not him Just wanted to clarify so there is no confusion. We should drag him out though if anyone knows where he lives lol.....any takers?

Is the name(s) screwed up? The "Tyler" I have on my list came from Stangnet. Keeping up with all the threads I started on all the forums is beginning to be a chore, lol.

My only issue with this is I've got the A6 11GT. So, do you guys have the ability to lock my 4th gear on the dyno? I do have an SCT Tuner for it.

They said they CAN do that, but not enough time on this day; dyno runs only. Best bet is to know how to roll into it, minimizing downshifting as much as possible.

Spoke to the guys at Turbo Tech this morning - all is good for 14 Jan! One note they wanted to pass - this is pretty much for dyno runs only, unless whatever changes you want to do, you can do QUICKLY! They said $45 to use the sniffer for A/F readings.

I'm at 17 now, and will go up to 20 for the main list, however, they said that they have no problems CONTINUING to run when the list runs out if the line is going quickly and people are willing to hang out.

ADDITIONALLY - they also mentioned that they do have a gas grill there, and if we wanted to have a burger-burn or whatever they don't have any issues with that. The more the merrier! Not sure how we could pull that off, but if someone's interested we could all put up a few bucks a piece and pool our money together and have a runner go to the store and pick up the stuff....just another idear...

Not worth it to me to attempt to lock 4th while running. Pass. Thanks for checking with them though

^^^ This is why you shouldn't buy an auto for a street car lol I SHOULD be down there still, and I for sure want A/F (mostly because I'm pretty afraid I might be running on the lean side lol). Hopefully we can make a day of it, meet some new friends, and grill some burgers/dogs!

If that makes you feel better about it lol Then again, I got in the Cobra the other day (just to keep the battery from dying in the cold weather, which I failed miserably at) and that clutch is STIFF! I can't believe I used to drive that thing in stop and go traffic like it was nothing, amazing how easy you forget lol. Speaking of, do you want my old license plate frame holder? It says "Speed and style. Questions?" Its in red and will prob match your paint. If not it's just gonna go to waste when they decide to crush the Cobra in to a cube

This should be such a fun day, I'm so glad there is so many different cars running, I hope Andre's RX7 and Zach's Z28 make it up there, I don't know either of them but I like both of those year's cars.
