What kind of dyno times can I expect from a 99 5-speed GT with bolt ons? Lets assume I only have an X-pipe and no cats. What do you think I would dyno? Now, lets assume I have basic bolt ons. (LT headers, CAI, underdrives, etc...) What kind of numbers would I expect then? Thanks in advance.

basic bolt ons you wont see much higher than 255. so maybe like 290fwhp tops.

youll never see 290, with basic boltons. highest will be around 270, if your lucky. with just a mid pipe id say you will be under 240. trust me i have already been through this. ive been dyno tuned 3 times now. i have no idea how many dyno pulls, much more then 3. good luck

Folks lets read before replying. he never said 290 at the tires. he said 255 and said 290fhp thats at the flywheel.

Full bolt ons with full exhaust I say 255-265 tops and maybe a freak is out there at 270.

thank u

ive seen more dyno sheets for bolt on GT's than i care to remember, and most put down around 245-250ish. those who had LT's and every single bolt on out there made closer to 260-265ish.

so figure in a 15% drivetrain loss and 247rwhp = 290 crank

even though its a stang and some benefit more from than others i would say anywhere from 245-260WHP but to really find out just get a dyno run

Why do you have blower cams in your sig? Are you getting a blower in the near future?

I think we all know that the REAL issue here is how the original poster managed to get the user name of Question (member since October 05.) You mean in the last 10 or however many years this forum has been here, NOBODY thought of using the name question? Sheesh!
