Seems a bit high for your mods since your only power mods are the plenum, intake, T/B and exhaust...are those corrected numbers?

#s are too high. Something isn't right. I'd take the car back and get it fixed so it can make less hp.

i know i had, x pipe, catback, cai, plenum/tb, and only made 241rwhp. that was without a tune. so the tune would have added 10. put me at 250rwhp with more mods.

I can't help but wonder if the later year cars, like 03 & 04, made a little more HP? The reason I ask this is the following, when comparing my car to one of my buddy's (01 stang) we noticed the following:
1. my car (04) factory 80mm mass air (earlier ones were smaller)
2. My injectors are purple (just different than his)
3. Our factory pulleys were different (my alternator pulley was noticably smaller)
4. My car had a much more aggressive sound with the stock mufflers than his did stock

And thats all I can think of now, but if that guys numbers seem a little high, say maybe by 10hp, the points I mentioned could probably account for 10 hp???
Just a thought, maybe someone else can throw in some other differences they have noticed

ehhhh i dont think so cause my 04 dynoed 232 with the xpipe catback throttle body and plenum. I think the intake somewhat took some power cause of that big maf.

I dont think they are quite right either....but none the less, NICE #S!!!

Anywho, reason I say so...is that with all his mods +a TB and VT STG 1 CAMS WITH TIMS TUNE I only made 274RWHP/ 292RWTQ .
I doubt the cams and TB only gave me 12RWHP LOL.

+1 on getting it to another dyno though These cars are pretty consistent...no factory freaks or the such, just happy dynos/operators LOL

If you both had the same size crank pulley than your alternator would turn faster than his.

I don't think his request was "out of line" enough to warrant you calling him an idiot. Be careful what you type, as that was a personal attack. This is your warning.

You don't want people raising the BS flag, then post the sheet. Your numbers are out of line compared to what others have gained, so until then you'll get flamed.

Those #'s aren't too far fetched......his A/F's must be dead on! Besides the cold weather makes a huge diffenence! I found this out on the dyno before! How about 18 rwhp difference and 15 rwtq! just from outside air changes! It would be better if you show corrected Numbers but STD numbers if the air is great tells you what your car made at that temp, humidity, barrometer, ect..... Why do you think altitude makes such a huge difference! When I was in El Paso...with the elevation at 4000+ feet I couldn't get the car into the 13's.......just moving to SC the car dropped 6-7 thenths just from better air and low altitude! I did 2 back to back dynos in a weekend before and one day it was 62 and decent humidity and made great power and ran 2 days later and the air temp ws 78 and really dry air and the car ran alot slower! But the correction factor was identical!

stg1 cams did probably only give you 12hp... they are nearly pointless to install. you can fart into the intake for that much power.

1. Congrats nice #'s and hopefully your telling the whole truth.
2. Your #'s do seem high, but like others have said take it to the track, and post all the info we will know the truth then.
