I am new to this site and a recent proud owner of a 2005 GT. I have already installed a UPR CAI, SCT Xcaliber programmer and a throttle body spacer. I am waiting on a set of SLP loudmouth 1's, which will hopefully be here soon(Im very impatient, esp when it comes to my car). I was wondering if anybody else has or had the same setup and wondered what their dyno results read. When I programmed my car I just used the setup that came with the programmer. After I install the exhaust I am going to get it dyno tuned. Also exactly how loud are the loudmouths? I have never heard a set before and I planned on buying an O/F X pipe but then thought against it until I hear it first. Thanks for all the help!

Your GT will make about 330hp at the flywheel. Dyno #'s will depend on which transmission you have & which kind of dyno you use mostly, with lots of other little factors, as well (i.e. weather, other driveline items like wheels, tires, driveshaft, gears, etc.).

If you have a manual trans, you'll likely put down about 280rwhp on a Mustang Dyno or about 295rwhp on a DynoJet Dyno. If you have an automatic trans, figure about 265rwhp on a Mustang Dyno or about 280rwhp on a DynoJet Dyno.

The SLP Loudmouths have a good bark to them without being horribly loud.

Ditch the TB spacer, it's worthless.

I had the SLP LMs originally. I loved them in the begining but after a while they just started sounding worse and worse to me. I ended up using them as tips and having Magnaflow Magnapacks welded in as a mid muffler system. It sounded awesome but I wanted it a little louder. I got a Pypes O/R X pipe and haven't looked back. It sounds so badass now. I'd highly recommend not doing a O/R X pipe with SLP LMs. It's going to be so obnoxiously loud you'll hate driving your car and it'll sound horrible. My set-up is loud but it sounds good, IMO.

This is a dyno graph with a VMP 93 octane tune, C&L Racer with 88mm maf tube, and SLP LMs.

I hope this helps !!

It depends completely on the type of muffler.

Hey Nasty do you have any sound clips of your Mustang? I like the idea of your setup but would like to hear it before I go overboard and start ordering parts.

No I do not. I'm planning on doing a sound clip driving within the next week. I keep forgetting.
