Well wanted 300...but with 91 octane used for the runs the best we could manage was 290.7/316.8. The tuner included a 94 octane tune that 'should' offer up a few more ponies, but all in all a GREAT time...not only to see what's really going on under the hood..but to stand and watch/hear her run!!! only 250 miles on the motor, so I'm still infatuated.

First pull netted me 276/304 with a FLAT A/F of 12.2 to 11.8, finished up with 12.6 coming down to 12.4 at the top end.

I think so too...a buddy of mine just let me know the dyno I used typically reads a bit lower than a dynojet so I feel like I got to where I wanted to be. Thanks very much Timmmmmmmeh !!

Thats too rich. Lean it out. Shoot for around 13.0 across +/- 2.

How much timing are you running?

My friend had a similar set up but with the smaller valve edel heads and a tfs street intake and made 323rwhp.

Whats your compression?

9.2...we were told to add 5% if you wanted to compare to dyno jet numbers so that would put me close to that range. The car didn't like to lean out and actually made 280's at 12.8-12.9 with a tad more timing. End result he pulled 1deg timing out and a/f to 12.6 and got a number and curve that we liked and should keep me safe when things get hot out...not best power range but very safe and VERY enjoyable!!!!

Maybe it was a mustang dyno? Ah who cares anyway, the TRACK is what matters :nice: Also remember the car will be leaner on the street anyway due to the way the dyno loads the car vs how the street loads it. Did he keep adding timing til it stopped making power?

yeah he found that with this particuar combo/computer that even adding 1 more degree took hp and torque down a touch..he has the timing advancing through out the curve but I don't recall final numbers. I will ask him when I go back next week to fix a little stall evey so often from my decision to set the idle under 800,I will ask for a little more info..though he said the 94 program (programs are switched by a toggle) is a bit more agressive..we'll see. the car is much crisper and with the fresh Dr's in the back she's just a kick to drive. Funny part was he said he could get me higher numbersl...he'll he even showed me how easy it was...but I wanted REAL figures not ego numbers.
