JOHNS01GT said:Thanks guys, so I take it I will need a chip before I get the tune??? Why do I now feel so stupid??!!!

The 4 bank chip they provide also allow up to 4 tune beside the stock one. For example, you could run on the stock or a slightly more agressive tune on 87 octane and simply flip the switch when you go to the track with 94. Also nice for people with nitrous !
JOHNS01GT said:Is a dyno tune worth getting if your car is N/A and slightly modified? Slightly meaning exhaust, pullies, etc. If so, what kind of gains can be expected? Thanks.![]()
DeadLurker said:what are you current mods?
JOHNS01GT said:Magnaflow catted X, Magnaflow catback, K&N cone filter, and steeda underdrive pullies. I am looking at 4:10's or 3:73's in the future, leaning towards the 3:73's for a future blower purchase.![]()

Would I get the gains people are saying, or should I just wait?

DeadLurker said:Well you got exhaust and pullies. A tune can definitely take advantage of that plus add timing...so yes I would look for a tune.
Do you know what your at now in terms of rwhp?
JOHNS01GT said:No, I have never had the car dyno'd. I would guess something like 238 rwhp. But then again I don't know. I sure wish it was more than that, probably somewhere in the area of 398 rwhp! :worship:
