Grady, you're the man....:nice: are most AF ratio graphs measured out in .2 increments?

No Mike

You usually don't see the af ratio displayed like that. Nothing wrong with it ... just different. It really does give you more accurate data and that is always a good thing.

From 3500 to 4250 it looks like the avg would be about 13.0
It then slowly falls to as low as about 12.2 at about 5200
It then rises a bit at the end of the pull

The ratio does rise and fall somewhat but you are looking at a total range of only about 8/10 of one point where I focused the discussion to in this post.

For the most part however, I do think that is too lean for a blown combo myself.

Like eades5.0 and others said, I'd be looking at making things fatter.

if u have a chip now controlling the timing then its time to put the msd btm in the classifieds. are u running any type of ignition system at all? not that i'm saying that is going to fix your problems but it might clear up some of your low rpm miss. and like others have said that a/f curve looks like a disaster waiting to happen. as far as your fuel situation, what was the pressure doing at the top of the run? if pressure is falling off up top then your having a fuel delivery problem. aside from the injectors what else is comprised in the fuel system (pumps, lines, etc.)

As far as what is my fuel pressure doing at the top of my run, i dont know my gauge is under my hood..... (going to change very soon thanks chris)
pumps, i am not sure will take my tank off and let you all know this weekend
lines i am assuming are stock
ignition = msd 6al btm newer cap and FMS wires, new autolite 3923 plugs gapped to .030

I cant belive he let you leave with your A/F looking like that, I would NOT get on that car at all your a/f is scary.
The reason your makin s h i t for power is because that is a s h i t tune.
Your a/f should be steady not all over the board, you have a fuel issue goin on somewhere big time!
As soon as you seen your FP was f u c k e d you shoulda stoped, lucky you didnt pop a headgasket with that a/f
Figure your fuel problem out and go back.
 :rlaugh:
Go Eades!!!

Maybe you have a dead fuel pump?
What fuel pumps are you running?

You have plenty inj for your combo, PLUS methanol so obviously something in your fuel sys else where needs atten
i was thinking the same thing. the fuel pump could be on its way out. you said you arent sure on the pump. does that mean you could possibly be running the stocker? if so, that could definitely be the reason for your fuel pressure issue. the stocker isnt capable of flowing what the 42's require. you should have a 255lph pump in there right now at the very least. do you have the t-rex inline pump installed?

chris, you have a way with words like no other on this board. ;)

fuel pump is going to be the first thing i check along with a t-rex.....

yeah my belt was definatly tight.... we tightedned it on the dyno i have ported tw heads could be the reason for not as much psi??

it would suprise me if it was the stock fuel pump... the guy who sold me the car told me he got all copper gaskets put on the car.......... and i found out first hand that was definatly not the case, along with many other things.... :(

dude, drop the tank NOW. its 3 bolts and takes like 10 minutes

i called lidio and i think i am going to go back and see what we can do about my "missing" problem but as far as my a/f ratio and my poor numbers.... i dont know?[/QUOTE]

Mine did the same after I got my pro-m 75. I was told that it should be clocked differently. I went to DFI and never got a chance to try it.

dropping the tank today....

the miss was there a little bit before the tune, but the tune made it quite a bit worse
instead of "missing" once every 8-10 seconds now it "misses" once every 2-3 seconds

I'm just going to throw out something that no one has said--and I really don't know what the answer is. How does the fuel pressure regulator work once it starts to get boost instead of vacuum? It's just something that could be causing a problem or maybe that situation is already worked out. I seriously don't know about these things--it's just something that I thought about while I was reading through this thread. Good Luck!!

one additional pound of pressure
FOR
each pound of boost
