I know there are many factors that play into it, but just curious as to about how long it took you guys with blowers to get your car dyno tuned? I just finished installing a Vortech onto my 2000 GT and I'm going in for a tune tomorrow. Just wanted to get a sense of about how long it will take.

I see you are located in the East Bay. Where are you getting your car tuned?

depends on the mods, does your car have stock cams? Are you getting a street tune with your dyno tune?

My car goes in on Wed next week. They are going to spend 2-3 hrs tuning it, and it's only going to have headers on it. Some tuners will spend an entire day on a heavily modified car.

My tuner always says 2 hours for tuning a blown car which allows them plenty of time to get all the good stuff correct

I'm getting it tuned at BRG Racing in Concord. Well I took the car in today, but since the rubber elbow I got from a hardware store to use for the intake wasn't going to work, the guys didn't want to tune the car and waste my money. I guess the elbow wasn't up to par and would have basically caved in once the boost started kicking in. Makes sense and something I should have thought about, but oh well. Just bought a vortech intake assembly for cheap and once that comes in, I'll reschedule the tune.

It sucks driving a car with a blower and not being able to get into boost.
