Has anyone ever retro-fitted with a center mount emergency brake, one that mounts on the trans tunnel and where did you get the kit from?

I haven't seen a kit per say, but people have done it using stuff from other cars. Use the search, there was a thread on this a while ago.

Just grab one out of a fox odied Mustang....cut out the tunnel part also and then simply graft it into the tunnel in your car. They work rather well but I do not like the way they clutter up the beautiful interiors of the early cars.

lokar makes a "kit" to do it it comes with pretty everything you need to do it but you will have to get the cables custom built. www.lokar.com
