A gain of 60hp and 33tq over untouched heads/intakes stock cam and TB.
Pretty flat curves, should work good at the track.

Clean, you should probably explain the whole combo and the heads in detail. Before any of these guys start thinking the average guy can pull this off easily.

They may not realize you are the E7 master.

whats the specs on your cam?
cam is a custom spec'd by Buddy Rawls. Buddy knows his stuff and has been involved in some Stock and SuperStock all out efforts making 400hp with little 125cc heads. He knows what makes a restricted combo work.
Cam is a hydro roller using stock lifters, duration at 0.050 is mid 220's, advertised is low 270's and lift is mid 0.500... ramp rates are pretty aggressive. Cam is not exhaust bias'd as far as the "typical" numbers go.

how did you get those numbers out of those mods, thats damn good

damn those are some good number for a damn near stock motor. Im going to have to look into "tmoss" porting
Nothing special.
Tom Moss's lowers are good pieces, and he did a little work on an upper for me.
The cam is brain of any motor, and I'll give much credit to Buddy Rawls. Idles at 900, and pulls smooth from as low as 1500 in 4th and 5th with no issues, also has no weak spots or peaks... just nice flat smooth delivery. Could have made much more power if I was willing to spin the motor and regear to suit.

I totally agree... and it has been done, Ed Hohenberg, stock 5.0 motor, silly hydro roller, 290hp/330tq, 5500rpm shift point and 11.9s in the 1/4... imagine a silly cam in a ported "stocker" setup!

nahhhh.... :).
2000xp8 is correct, you'll not likely see similar good drivability AND performance out of a shelf cam/valve/chip combo.

Depends what you mean by stock heads, and supporting mods...

I did 272 with a stock cam, Cobra intake, and unported E7s. They do have larger valves, and a valve job, as well as new springs and rockers, but the intake and exhaust ports are still untouched (even those bumps in the exhaust port).

Clean, what kind of milling did you do, If you did any? If not, will the motor allow for it (P/V clearance and such). If it will and you havent, you have some more left in it, but Im sure you either know that, or already took care of it!

combustion chambers sit at 58cc's... room for more deck removal, but, I don't care to tear the combo down unless absolutly neccessary at this point... been 3 years in the build... I'm not wealthy... and very tired of wrenching.

25th, those are awesome numbers with stock castings and stock cam. I assume the bowls were blended when you went to larger valves?

Heads flow over 200, but, Tom did a pretty nifty job on the intakes, and Buddy designed the cam around a restricted airflow combo...
An E-brock lower and copm box upper may be considered down the road... but, pretty happy with teh results given the appearance... which was the goal.
