I think you'll want to loosen the motormounts a little and might need to drop the k member. You can jack up the engine a few inches for the needed clearance. Do a search and see what is pulls up

drop the k-member. if you know how to do it the install of LTs becomes so easy.

drop the K memeber. I have done it this way around 6 times. After the first time, it takes maybe 2 or 3 hours to install them. then another 2 or 3 to put everything back together.

also it easier if you remove the engine mounts on the block to get those bottom bolts.

while dropping the K member may give you the best access to the LT's it is also an incredible amount of work. Most of the car will be apart at that point. At that point most of the car will be apart and in pieces.

The way i did it was dropping the transmission and jacking the motor up about 4 or 5 inches and it was not a big deal at all. Just make sure when you take the transmission down you take a look at the clutch. Most LT set ups do not allow you to replace the clutch while the long tubes are on there so you are best bet to do both at the same time to save some time. When the clutch does go you don't want to be taking off the long tubes to put the clutch in

just my .02 cents

Did you have to eat the coffee grounds right out of the can to keep you going?

Looks like I had it easy when I put LT's on my Lightning(even though I spent all day squeezed under a 5000 lb truck )

You should take that floor jack to the antique road show. It's probably worth $30,000.
