Whats the diffrence between 620s and 720s? I thought the 720s where for the bigger cars but I see some of the 67s have 620s and some 66s have 720s

Mainly ride quality, what you do with the old girl and how many times a year you want to see the dentist.

I have run springs with a rate as high as 1200 pounds at some tracks.

540 =much firmer than stock, perfect for most small block ford mustangs who want to firm up their ride.

620 = stiffer, for the driver who will sacrafice comfort for better handeling, street car / weekend warrior (me)

720 = super stiff, too stiff for me. for hardcore apps. or for the person who wears a mouthpeice while driving so he doesnt shatter his teeth, haha. I cant imagine driving with 720's everyday on the street.

I think it breaks down to personal preferance.

What is the front spring rate for a '66 Standard and GT? Is there a difference between a Coupe and Convertible?

- so true. A fat sway bar will stiffen up a softly sprung car.

If you run that big of a spring on a rubber perch your missing out on what the spring and shock can really do. Can I send you a set of roller perches to try, if you don't like 'em you can send 'em back. No kidding, I'll pay shipping both ways.
