I have my seats out of my car for floorpan replacement :damnit: and I have cuts in the seats (I have '66 Pony Interior) and I dont have the money at the time to replace the seat skins and I was wondering if theres and easy way to get the vinly off the seats so I can sew them up for a temporary repair. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance

well, good luck sewing them together. i tried that and the thread just busts through the vinyl, especially if its old vinyl. but to answer your question, mine just pulled right off. the hard part is removing the hog rings. you will need a beefy set of wire cutters, and then start going to town. id just save up and buy new upholstery, now is definately the time to replace it.
