I feel bad for those ignorant people out there who see something on ebay, and assume it's dirt cheap! I mean, I used to think that way, WHEN I WAS 15!!, but now I know better
i polished the hell outta my stock intake for the hell of it cause i knew i was gonna get a cobra and i wanted to do the same to it. after about 3/4 of the way through (over 30 hours into it), i quit and sold it on ebay. it looked pretty good for my first time but it went for about $110 if i remember correctly. the guy said he would finish it up cause i did most of the work and it looked great already
from selling stuff on ebay i have learned that how you advertise your items is huge.
Shaun, your key words in your heading are mustang, GT, 95, and intake ... To get more views you need to add things like 5.0, 302, cobra, saleen, sbf, 94, etc... By putting these in you will increase your chance of getting a better price by like over 50%... I know you don't have that much space to write a heading so get rid of some of the words that won't help you like STOCK, don't use fillers like "and" and "from" use either slashes or nothing at all..
Even though it isn't a cobra or a saleen intake it gets views because of it.. And gettng seen is half the battle when trying to sell something.. aNd the desciption is where you tell what it truely is...
I love going on ebay and finding poorly advertised parts and then buying them cheap and reselling them.. As a hobby i made over a 1500 dollars doing that last year.
Those are just some suggestions, but if you do them i will put money down that you will get more results almost every time.
Oh and a good pic helps out a lot too... which i see you have a pretty good one...
I've never had a problem selling stuff on Ebay. I usually get at least 100 views no matter what I am selling and I have always got more money than I was expecting. I don't like adding BS words to my titles in an effort to draw in more people. A person that is looking for what I am selling will have no problem finding it.
Adding extra BS words just draws in people that aren't even shopping for your item. That guy's title was BS!!! It is not even a Cobra or saleen intake. I could add words like FREE, SEX, and BEER as well and probably draw in thousands of people, but that is lying and what is the point? There is a little law out there called "false advertisement"
100 views huh... lol lmao... I get over 1000 views on almost all my auctions... The only bs words i suggested were cobra and saleen... The rest were perfectly fine... I wasn't really critizing you man i was just trying to help you out...
I usually just use 302, 5.0, 94-95, etc... Now those are truthful and will get you more results... Your just limiting yourself on buyers... I have an urg to bid and buy that from you and turn around and sell it too prove my point... Hey you consider pickup at your house to save shipping... lol
