Anybody know where I can go in Edmonton to get my check engine code read?? I went to ford and they want a 100 bucks just to pull a code which takes like 2 secs and I'm not paying 100

I recently did some work to the car and it runs fine and everything now thats it back together except it now has a SES light?? It did have a vacuum leak, but I found that and thought that was the problem but the light is still on after I fixed it. I just want to know where its coming from, so any help appreciated.

You'll need an OBD II scanner to pull the coes. Try Canadian Tire. It won't be free but it'll be cheaper than the dealership.

Yeah I have been phonign around Valks auto shop is about the cheapest for 50 bucks. Candian tire wants 75, the dealership wants 100. I'm still looking to see if I can find it for free...yeah I'm a cheap bastard.

HAHAHHAA your not going to find it for free from anywhere unless you know someone. I know the one I use was thousands of dollars. sure as hell not gonna just give away info .
