HI all well i havea question i recently purchased a summit efi conversion harness... now the origional instructions were destroyed (also i purchased this kit second hand but unused) so i cant get a new copy of the instructions...but the kit was shipped with a install instruction kit from the ford svo install kit ive been told they are the same kit but in the instructions i have there is only one brown plug next to the self test plug and the harness actually has two a black and grey plug and the wiring on the green plug next to the computer has different wiring than the instructions suggest..to run the fuel pump etc now has anyone done this conversion and run into this problem..ive looked online and cant locate any diagrams of the black and grey plug setup only the brown one...and im quite certain that in my past experiences with fox cars all the ones i worked on had the dual plugs not the single...any ideas suggestions appreciated in advance

The instructions for the Summit EFI Harness are available as a free download:

thanks for the reply...but now that i see their instructions i can see clearly that the harness i got certainly did not come from summit unless its an older version of the harness as the one i have is similar to the harness that ford racing origionally sold with the exception of the plugs i mentioned earlier which are the ones i need to cut into and connect to my car...through my research it looks like the harness that ford svo sold origionally was similar to an 89 mustang harness and the harness i have now is for a 91-93 car it is a new harness but i think the guy i bought it from is lying about where he got it from...any other suggestions...i guess what i could really use is the harness diagram for a 91-93 ecm harness that would likely help me figure out what colors i am actually looking for

You might be able to locate a '93 wiring diagram over in the Fox 5.0 section. Another website mustanggt.org has been posting a lot of technical information on those cars.
