EFI to carb wireing Question

ok i got the whole EEC wiring off except one part, the bundle of wires that go into the passenger side kick panel area....has anyone done this...how do i get it off?? Thanks

There is a Green screw I think it 6mm socket not sure excatly but that will take it off. After that it should pull down

isn't that where all the gauges and power lines for the accessories inside the car go what about the lights and junk.

Two plugs, one grey, one green, the main wire bundle going into the computer screws out with that green screw. It pulls itself out. There is also a computer relay above all that that needs to be disconnected too. Once that is all disconnected. Go to the engine bay, look where the bundle of wires goes throught he firewall. There should be a rubber grommet there. Pry it out with a screw driver. If its hard to get to, don't fret to take off all those vacuum solenoids in that area, you wont need them. just pull it out carefully.

the bundle of wires that goes into the firewall wont come out....i took the rubber grommet off and was pulling on the bundle of wires and the wont come out......????

so to get at the two plugs i have to take out the dash inside the car? or just the passenger side speaker?

no no, its in the kick panel... before the door. You have to disconnect everything. The bundle of red wires are for your door accessorys, dont touch them

you dont need that stuff, I mean you are allready stepping back in tech, might as well go back before the light bulb also...
It is the easy way out to switch to carb... but it's your car
