Hey guys,
I'm currently working on my 1989 mustang to make it a street/strip car. One of the things I.m doing to it is putting a carburetor in it and gettin rid of the efi. I have a basic idea right now on how I am goin to wire it up. Ive wired a few race cars but its a little different because I want everything to work with the key just as it did with fuel injected. I know there are two wiring harnesses in the car, the eec and the chasis. Am i right by thinking that I can go and cut out all the eec wiring and and ecu out and then start conecting wires and running new ones? Or is there a better way? Basically what I am asking is to see what other people have done, is there a better way to wire the car up, or if my thought is a good way and what all do i have to do if thats the way to do it?
Thanks,
dwp
