Anyone with a 2" drop in the front and a 1.5" drop in the rear bottom out a lot? Is this a good setup for a daily driver? Or should i got with a 1.5" drop in both the front and rear?

First thing to check if your bottoming out in the rear, is did you trim your bumpstop above the axle at time of installion. 2nd if you did it might need trimmed a little more. If neither of these could be due to worn out rear shocks

1.5 front and rear, no bottoming out. I'm thinking that 2inch would probably hit.

as discussed in other threads, invest in the bump steer kit and the steering kit to make this work.

I have the Eibach Sportline or Pro (i always forget which one is progressive and which isnt). The non-progressive springs which are the 2" drop. They suck! Might be good for track use, but as a daily driver they are harsh and I bottom out on the most shallow crap! I have the stock wheels with 255/45-17 and it hits on EVERY speedbump. Three days ago the front tire went up and grabbed the fender liner and pulled it down. Go with the progressive ones, better ride better clearence. After I pay down the credit card I am 86ing mine and buying a set of the Eibach progressive.

so then i guess i go with the 1.5". I have to replace my shocks in the rear, and i heard that once you lower the car and replace the shocks stuts, then it voids you from going to any tire kingdom or any tire place to balance, align etc. the tires. I dont know if this is true. Oh and does lowering the car really wear away the tire a lot faster, like a dramatic decrease in tire life? THanks guys.

Make sure to get camber/castor plates. I am still waiting on mine (seems I am always waiting for the guy in brown) and the front tires are really worn on the inside fronts because of too much negative camber. As for the tire kingdom I just go to the local tire shop and they have never given me a problem with alignment or anything like that.
