electric fan

I have a 65 Mustang I was wondering if an electric fan could be installed without any serious modifications the motor is a stock 289.Any suggestions

I've got two. The big one is for radiator, and the small one is the transmission cooling. They are Flex-a-Lites.

Really no mods are required. You can use a fan as a pusher type, as the previous poster did, or remove the current engine fan and use the electric fan as a puller type. Should be able to remove the engine fan without pulling the radiator.
