This is interesting, we've all saw tons of tuner models but I never expected this!

...both are capable of sub-four-second runs to 60 mph.

Production on these cars is slated for early 2008. The HST Shelby Cobra EV300 will be sold in the U.S. and Europe, but only 10 examples will be offered stateside at $125,000 apiece in the initial production run. Ronale is planning on producing 800 copies of the Mustang 300E next year, with current capacity of around 1000 units annually. You'll need to supply them with a donor Mustang and $80,000 to get the build started.

Has to happen some day. This is just the start. Could be that in 20 or 30 years we'll be looking back and remembering the days when we had gasoline powered Mustangs that made lots of noise and we had to stop at a thing called a "gas station" every couple hundred miles. :D

As long as they have speakers on the out side and a sound track of a V8.

LOL, that's something I've wondered about. What happens when most cars including sports cars are electric? Electric cars barely make any noise and that's a big part of the experience of most sports cars, the amazing noises they make. All we'll have then is the sensation of going fast, silently

Thats why it is so important to sieze the moment, be happy with what you have instead of allways worring about the next generation of stangs and what they will have. You have a gas powered V8 stang, keep it up and it will be a classic on day. With more alternitive fuels on the market will drive the price of gas down, we will be in our hay day unless the goverment bans us off the roads or something for poluting.
